Black women of many ages gathered in a warm living room, laughing, journaling and sharing tea

Cincinnati, Ohio

Welcome to
Heal Blk Gyrl.

Heal Blk Gyrl exists because healing isn’t just about us. It’s about every daughter who’s watching us, every son who’s learning from us, every sister, every niece, every mother, every grandmother, and every generation that will come after us.

Through honest conversations about healing, relationships, self-awareness, identity, grief, joy, faith, and purpose, we create space for Black women to heal out loud. Because when Black women heal, families become stronger. Communities become stronger. And generations become stronger. Here, you are not alone.

Thank you for choosing yourself and beginning this journey. Your willingness to heal doesn’t end with you. One of the most beautiful parts of your decision is realizing that it has the power to support, encourage, and inspire another woman’s healing journey.

Together, we are creating something bigger than ourselves.

Through community and collective oneness, we begin the beautiful work of generational healing.

Our Story

Founded in Cincinnati.
Created for every sister still carrying it all.

Heal Blk Gyrl has been thoughtfully developed by founder Cierra Smith since 2024, growing from a deeply personal passion—not as a trend, but as a long-term commitment to helping Black women feel seen, heard, supported, and less alone. The sisterhood officially launched in 2026, and our first gathering was held on June 27, 2026, in Cincinnati, welcoming twelve women in person and one joining virtually.

After that first gathering, three women shared that the conversations and support helped inspire meaningful decisions in their lives. That is the work: Outside Looking Within™ — honest reflection held by community, education, and sisterhood.

Where It All Began

Where It All Began

Before the polished rooms, expanded programs, and future Healing Hub, there was one intimate room filled with honest conversation, reflection, laughter, and sisterhood. This was our first gathering—real, imperfect, and deeply meaningful.
